Automatic Lighting When Movement Is Detected
The integrated PIR sensor detects changes in infrared radiation caused by movement within its detection area. When movement is detected and the selected ambient-light condition is met, the light switches on automatically. It switches off after the selected delay when no further movement is detected.
PIR operation relies on movement. A person remaining still may not keep the light activated, so choose the installation position and delay to suit the application.

Round and Square Designs
Choose a round or square panel to complement the ceiling layout and interior style. Both designs have a white finish, a diffused light-emitting surface and accessible setting switches.
The slim design suits indoor lighting projects where automatic operation and selectable settings are required.
Selectable Light Colour and Sensor Settings
Use the switches on the light to select the white light colour, ambient-light mode and switch-off delay. Disconnect the mains supply before accessing or adjusting the settings. Follow the markings on the supplied product for the correct switch positions.
Three White Light Colours

Colour-temperature selection changes the appearance of the white light. It is not a brightness-dimming control.
Four Switch-Off Delays
Select a delay of 30, 60, 120 or 300 seconds. The selected delay determines how long the light remains on after the sensor stops detecting movement.
Choose a delay appropriate for normal use of the space, then check operation after installation.
Ambient-Light Operating Modes

All-day mode does not mean always-on lighting. Motion detection and the selected switch-off delay still control operation. Test the selected light-sensor mode under the actual lighting conditions at the installation site.
Flexible Installation Options
The mounting arrangement supports surface or recessed installation. Adjustable spring-clip positions help accommodate suitable existing ceiling openings. Confirm the required cutout range, ceiling clearance and mounting method for the supplied model before installation.
A mounting bracket and safety tether support installation and retention of the light. Follow the supplied instructions and ensure that all mounting components are securely fitted.
- Have a qualified electrician disconnect the supply and verify that the circuit is dead.
- Confirm that the product label matches the available electrical supply.
- Check the ceiling material, mounting clearance and required fixing method.
- Secure the mounting bracket or adjust the spring clips according to the installation instructions.
- Attach the safety tether and complete the electrical connections as specified for the supplied product.
- Select the required light colour, sensor mode and delay before securing the panel.
- Restore power after completing the installation checks, then test motion activation and delayed switch-off.
Indoor Lighting Applications
Potential applications include hallways, stairways, entrance areas, offices and enclosed balconies. For washrooms or other locations exposed to moisture, confirm the product’s ingress-protection rating and permitted installation zone before specifying it.
The recommended mounting height shown in the product information is approximately 2.5–3.5m. Actual detection coverage depends on mounting position, movement direction and environmental conditions.
